The Majesty of the mythical Phoenix is captured for you to tame in your lighting display.  From the home light display that goes from mild to wild, to the professional event that is begging for some compact and robust wow factors, the PhoenixRay moving head fixture from Mattos Designs will take your lighting display from ordinary to Legendary. 
Enclosed in an IP66 water-resistant housing, the PhoenixRay gets its fire from a 300-watt Ultra High-Efficiency LED engine. This LED engine is the heart of this legendary fixture. The optics keey all of that 300 watt fire contained to a 1.6 degree beam - meaning its tight and bright!  To give it nimble moves, we equipped it with superfast drives enabling a full 540-degree X rotation in a mere 2.1 seconds and you get all 220 degrees of the Y-axis tilt in a blazing 1.5 seconds. The PhoenixRay uses accurate positioning technology – so if it misses a step or something alters its motion – the included tech will ensure that it returns to the correct position EVERY TIME.
All go and no show makes for a pretty boring display, so we added a 17+open color wheel, 17 fixed plus over 80 moving variant Gobo wheel, an 8+16 prism, Linear brightness, a rainbow mirror, and plenty of strobe effects to set this Phoenix at the top of the scale. The color display panel and light touch keypad make the PhoenixRay almost as enjoyable to set up as it is to watch on your display.

The Phoenix ray boasts 5 different operating modes. Standard DMX512, Sound, and Auto 1,2 and 3.  Sound mode uses an internal microphone (sensitivity is adjustable) to allow the head to run in standalone mode - reacting and moving to sound input.  Auto 1 is what we call the  "all over the place" mode - an automatic show that cycles the head in a variety of positions and colors - high, mid level and low pointing beam.  Auto 2 is the Up program (with the head sitting on it's feet) - random motions and color changes while auto 3 is the Low program (again with the head sitting on its feet) - where the beam is mainly focused low - all of the auto programs make the Phoenix Ray a simple out of the flight case solution for your show.  No technical skills required - just mount, power up, set and let it draw attention to your event.  The Mode stays set at power down and power up, so if in one of the auto programs - simply powering the head up will start the show automatically (after the startup cycle).
